Grey's Anatomy: Preview of Episode 6.18 "Suicide is Painless"

It's the big Iraq flashback episode tonight on Grey's Anatomy. Just when we thought Owen's (Kevin McKidd) PTSD episodes are over, they rear their ugly heads anew. And what triggered it? Why Teddy (Kim Raver) of course. Her patient chooses to die and Teddy needs Hunt for help. Elsewhere on "Suicide is Painless" Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) have a difference in opinion on what their future holds - no doubt a continuation of their kids debate on the last episode. Ironically, Arizona doesn't want kids of her own, while Callie does. Finally, the surgeon formerly known as the Chief (James Pickens, Jr.) tries to adjust to his role as a surgeon. Tonight's TV Hot List: Thursday, March 25, 2010

* Grey's Anatomy (9/8c ABC) Things ended on an up note for the hot docs last week, both professionally and romantically (although Lexie might beg to differ), but Teddy won't be able to concentrate too much on "responsible adult" Mark tonight because she has pressing work problems (about a patient who wants to die). They're so pressing, in fact, that she must ask Owen for help, and that opens a floodgate of wartime memories for him. They won't be pleasant. Look, too, for signs of trouble between Callie and Arizona. Sara Gilbert guest stars. * NCAA Basketball Tournament (7/6c CBS) So that's why this is one of the world's top sporting events. Last weekend's slate of thrillers, upsets and buzzer beaters leaves a motley group of 16 teams (representing 11 different conferences) to battle it out over the next two nights. Games of note this evening include Wes Johnson and the Orange of Syracuse trying to put an end to the Butler Bulldogs (with the nation's longest winning streak at 22 games), and top seed Kentucky looking to halt the remarkable run of the Big Red of Cornell. * Vampire Diaries (8/7c The CW ) It's been six weeks since the last original episode aired way back on Feb. 11, but the wait appears to be worth it. Tonight, Damon is selected to be one of Mystic Falls few good men to take part in a bachelor raffle to raise money for the town. "A room full of women clamoring to win a date with me," Damon says, "sounds tasty." Of course, with bloodthirsty Damon as the prize, the winner is likely to end up the biggest loser of the night. * 30 Rock (9:30/8:30c NBC) Jason Sudeikis, former Saturday Night Live cast mate of series headliner Tina Fey, returns as Liz's ex-flame. It's a flood of Floyd when he arrives and breaks big news, prompting Mizz Liz to reassess her dormant feelings for him. Meanwhile, after getting punk'd by the writing team, newest TGS player Danny (Cheyenne Jackson) learns the fine art of pulling pranks, courtesy of Jack. And Kenneth sheds light on his oddball childhood, thoroughly disturbing Jenna and Tracy in the process. * Sarah Silverman Program (Midnight/11c Comedy Central ) Jam bands usually inspire fierce loyalty from their fans, who are known for traveling as one community from venue to venue in search of the eternal groove and ever-evolving musical improvisation. But what if it's all in their heads? Sarah has news for these zealots when she attends a freewheeling concert with Steve. Meanwhile, Jay's uncontrollable laughter in the bedroom isn't very funny to Laura. Source Here

Dr. Owen Hunt's Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is back in the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy". The PTSD has ended up with him unconsciously choking Cristina last season, and this time it looks like he's taking it on ex-lover Teddy. When Teddy's patient seeks to end treatment and her life, she turns to Owen for help. The situation triggers Owen's memories of his life at war and his past relationship with Teddy. Actress Kim Raver said that she and Kevin McKidd had to shoot the war episode in the windy deserts of Lancaster, California. Describing the episode, Raver said it will reveal "this really fun, lighthearted bond, but also how loyalty is so important out there under very intense circumstances." Meanwhile, Callie and Arizona have a difference in opinion on what their future holds, and Richard tries to adjust to his role as a surgeon. Named after "M*A*S*H" theme song, "Suicide Is Painless" airs on March 25. Source Here
