Review of Hand of God

60 minutes

An hour-long drama, "Hand of God" marks the television debut of filmmaker Marc Foster (Monster’s Ball). The show will follow Judge Pernell Harris, a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side, who suffers a mental breakdown and goes on a vigilante quest to find the rapist who tore his family apart. With no real evidence to go on, Pernell begins to rely on ‘visions’ and ‘messages’ he believes are being sent by God through Pernell’s ventilator-bound son. The show stars Ron Perlman as a judge and Dana Delany as his wife. Garret Dillahunt joins the cast as a “born-again sociopath,” with Andre Royo playing a “smart, gregarious, and greedy mayor.”

Why cancel it ? i thought they had the cast brillantly chosen, some very beautiful women in it, a interesting if not a bit wierd story but had a mix of serious and funny parts in the show, i have finished season 1 and was one of my fav tv shows seen this year.
Very sad the next season is last a real shame.
