Wondering man finds a life building railroads - Sounds dull but...
Not a storyline that says watch me but that is only the skin of the show.....Its better in every way than the norm.
All around one guy really who is basically Ray Donovan in the 1800s
Cleverly written to have plotlines and progression of the characters, you find yourself following the story quickly and each season its own location as the railway moves along.

People knew how to wear hats back then, and beards...and mud. This show has more mud than any other show apart from Englands "Time team" with tony robinson where he digs holes and pretends to have found ancient buildings.

Hell on wheels is far better than many of its rival shows but has not be as well hyped. Catch a show to remember.
