Review of Hemlock Grove

60 minutes

When the mangled corpse of a local teenager is discovered, rumor and suspicion spread like a plague through Hemlock Grove. As dark secrets bubble to the surface, everyone becomes a suspect in the hunt for a monster that may be hiding in plain sight.

This is Netflix's weakest link. I binge watched the first two seasons during the Christmas holiday when nothing was on and I thought it was mediocre because the acting was weak, except for Famke, and the story seemed to go nowhere. Now here comes season three competing against what is arguably the best fall season ever (i.e. many good shows returning and many new shows actually seeming good) and there's just no way i have the time to wast on another ten episodes. Who knows, I may opt to finish this during 2015 Christmas, but there are so many other shows, old shows that are in my queue that I highly doubt I'll finish. I don't recommend this show unless you have absolutely nothing else to watch and nothing else to do.
