Hindsight Reviews & Ratings

60 minutes

Hindsight, whose pilot was directed by Michael Trim, stars Laura Ramsey, Legend Of The Seeker‘s Craig Horner and Sarah Goldberg. It centers on Becca (Ramsey) who, as she nears 40, is about to embark on her second wedding to Andy Kelly, but her joy is tempered by the absence of her old best friend Lolly (Goldberg) who’s a no-show, having dropped out of their relationship years ago. As Becca mulls over her past with Lolly and the mishap of her marriage to her first husband, Sean (Horner), she wakes up on her wedding day and discovers that it’s 15 years in the past – she’s about to marry Sean, her own parents are still married, and Lolly is still in her life. Becca must now decide to either go ahead with her marriage to Sean and watch the years play out as they have before, or chuck it all and try for a re-do of the history of her life that’s still in the future.

A nostalgic drama that every 40-something will relate to. Imagine being able to travel back twenty years to the mid-90s and have the chance to change the decisions you made, to rewrite the life you've lived. Becca is given such an opportunity. She is helped along the way by her best friend Lolly.

So far this has been a fun, quirky, insightful and engaging. It's easy to engage with and surprisingly emotionally engaging. It's also made me remember that life before smart phones was a real pain.

This started out well, but now it seems like Becca's just gonna be running around in circles making the same decisions over and over again. And is it really possible to have a time travel show set in NYC where its character goes back to the end of the 20th century without mentioning 9/11? I mean, I know it's not that kind of show, but at some point that's gotta come up, right? And I don't see this show handling that well. imo, if you're gonna ignore the time paradox of time travel, go balls out! "Being Erica" was WAY better than this.

This show is about a woman who is facing her second marriage and realizes how much she lost from her first. She lost a best friend, a good relationship with her mother, and self assurance. When she wakes up from fainting back in the 1990's about to marry her first love, she needs to decide would she make the same choices, were they worth it?.
It is a cliche, but the very attractive with awesome acting skills; the show was excellent. Definitely something I will enjoy.

Not a bad show to binge watch. Had a lot of potential, didn't quite get there but was still entertaining.

At first I liked this... I gave it 3.5 stars, now dropped it to 2.5 stars. The pilot seemed like it was going somewhere fun, sort of like the similar Canadian show Being Erica; that aired in Canada and the US. But this show is getting dumber by the episode. It is just about this woman's failed relationships... we're 10 episodes in and she's been in love three times. Seriously? If they cancel this, I won't miss it.

I actually didn't mind this and would have kept watching for now but it's been cancelled so I guess it's going into my concluded pile.

This show started off well. Now, I don't know...She keeps making basically the same (or worse in some cases) mistakes, Also, did anyone else really want to see Becca and Sean stay together? I don't get it; she knows that she loves him, and he definitely loves her (plus he's super hot), so why not proceed with him and know exactly wht went wrong the first time around? Why pursue Andy who she loved, yes, but the love was more lukewarm compared to Sean? And what's up with Lolly? What happened?? Love the throwback music btw :) .... Had to drop down to 1.5 star. It might still be ok but I stopped watching when things turned sour with Sean..sorry

well so much for that... get me to care about these characters and then cancel the series thereby leaving me to wonder what is to happen to them now? over all the series was good with actors that made their roles believable and interesting... the writing was good so why?? why cancel this series? sigh!

Nice look back. I wonder what I would try and change?
