Showtime is Coming to Hulu!

The Great Unbundling continues! According to Deadline , not only is Showtime introducing its standalone service later this summer, but it's also going to make its offerings available (for an additional fee) on Hulu ! This is, to put it lightly, an unexpected turn of events, given that Showtime 's parent company, CBS, hasn't made any of its content available on Hulu — in fact, it created its own standalone subscription service, CBS All Access . This also means that Showtime content will be available on all devices that are served by Hulu, which means the rollout will be faster than that of, say, HBO Now , which partnered exclusively with Apple for its introductory period. As of right now, the pricing for Showtime on Hulu will be a little bit lower than its own standalone service ($8.99/month vs. $10.99/month), though it remains to be seen whether it'll be ad-supported, as is most of the content on Hulu . Would you rather subscribe to Showtime 's standalone service or through Hulu ? Chime in the comments! p { text-align: justify; }
