Manny and Valerie have been living in a rental house with their daughter in downtown Newport Rhode Island when he gets his military orders to move to Charleston, South Carolina. As a result, they decide to buy a house instead of renting when they move down there. The couple is in a bind to find the right house during their trip to Charleston, or move into military housing until they find the right place.
