First Look: ‘Human Resources’ (Pivot) Series Premiere 2014

Human Resources  series premiere 2014 airs Friday, August 8th at 10PM ET/PT on Pivot. Show Synopsis:  The newest addition to Pivot’s lineup of breakout content is the irreverent and laugh out loud humor of Human Resources, a new twist on the “workplace docu-comedy.” The 10 half-hour episodes pull the curtain back on life at TerraCycle, one of the fastest growing green businesses in the world and a company who’s made it their mission to eliminate the idea of waste. Run by Tom Szaky, an idealistic 32-year-old entrepreneur who believes that anything is possible, TerraCycle takes anything and everything that is landfill-bound – from potato chip bags to cigarette butts – to recycle, up-cycle, re-use, or otherwise transform into something else. The quirky staff of this New Jersey based company is very much like a family and where there is family, there are characters- and that is the core of why Human Resources is about much more than a corporate and social mission- it documents the sometimes incredibly awkward and relatable real life drama that ensues when a headstrong group of Millennials find themselves in a position to change the world‎.
