Review of Insecure

THE SOCIETY - SEASON ONE The various frameworks and safety nets that once kept these All-American teens from spiralling out of control have abandoned them, or set them free, depending on which character you focus on, and it makes for compulsive viewing. The Society brings a fresh new take to an old premise. And although the show as a whole suffers towards the end of the season, it eventually finds its feet. The cast are good, and frequently prove they are the main attraction for the ongoing plot. Despite the interesting mystery and narrative being shunned later in the show, the set-up is extremely well done, and incites a lot of intrigue - despite how long it takes for anything to happen with it.

THE BOONDOCKS - SEASON THREE If you love a big, seriously politically incorrect, brilliantly funny show that delivers belly laughs of the "South Park" quantity, then this one's for you.
