The storm has cleared and the Copernicus is in sight. Brelan tries to make contact, but without success. Cats propses a planned salvage expedition from Space City. Finbow goes to the bridge but is ordered back to the airlock. Petra anticipates a collision and moves the Ilea back to a holding position. Brelan decides to dock with the ship, but Petra advises that no lock is possible, so Cats decides to take a shuttle across. Piers is worried that the bodies on the Copernicus may be infectious.
