'Klondike' finale: What did you think of Discovery's first scripted series?

"Klondike," the first scripted series from Discovery Channel, concluded its three-episode arc Wednesday (Jan. 22). After following the need for adventure after graduating college, Richard Madden's real-life explorer Bill Haskell discovered that his claim in the Yukon actually did yield gold.He found and lost love with Abbie Cornish's Belinda Mulrooney, saw both of his closest friends die in front of him and nearly froze to death himself. Characters in the series suffered from typhus, dysentery and walking pneumonia, and the lack of law enforcement or control in the town of Dawson was displayed in a number of different story arcs.The six-hour miniseries came to an end with Bill getting out of the Yukon with his gold -- and most of his dignity -- intact. But the story, as we discover, continues after the final shot airs.
