Partners & Spade are masters of the public spectacle and prominent NYC tastemakers, but nobody really knows how to apply a job title to what they actually do. We do know that they’re currently working on a little number with Chuck Close called Project on Creativity and that they have the raddest storefront around. They also know how to throw a killer party. So we hung out with the duo while they mounted a one day pop-up store/studio/art show for us. Aside from learning about how they met, what makes them tick, and how to work together in launching Kate Spade into a massive line, we also found out that having an inflatable blue man at your next party is a no-brainer.
