Review of Limitless

60 minutes

LIMITLESS, based on the feature film, is a fast-paced drama about Brian Finch (Jake McDorman), who discovers the brain-boosting power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced by the FBI into using his extraordinary cognitive abilities to solve complex cases for them. Working closely with Brian in the major case squad in New York City is Special Agent Rebecca Harris (Jennifer Carpenter), a formidable investigator with a dark past, and Special Agent Boyle (Hill Harper), a former military officer and Rebecca’s confidante. They report to Special Agent in Charge Nasreen “Naz” Pouran (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio), a canny manipulator of the reins of power.

Based on the premise from the film of the same name. A pill to "max" your intelligence makes people so smart they can out think everyone on the planet. Given to a drop out, it changes his world and the world of people around him.

Great idea poorly executed !! - Brian is too dumb as the show progresses and im wishing they would give him two pills, or give the pills to a cleverer man
Light relief as a show but lacks the punch of the film. Hope to see it improve and become more like sherlock, but time will tell...
The import of TWO people from Dexter was a bad choice I feel as it confuses me when they are in the same shot together and reminds me how dexter was better than this show :)
