Beautifully filmed adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic. I always loved this book so approached the show with some trepidation. No need, it's excellent, Andrew Davies adaptation is wonderful. Matthew McFadyen and Tom Courtenay are excellent. It's an amazing cast, a poignant story and I love it, will happily rewatch at any moment.

I've never read the book, but I immensely enjoyed this miniseries. It is wonderfully delightful, filled with superb acting and a great rags to riches and riches to rags story. Such fun and hard to stop once you get going. I highly recommended it. Especially if you have a fondness for dear Dickens.
