Episode 1: Everything's Okay

I love Lucifer, BUT, given that the show was cancelled and the fans fought to get it back, I wouldn't expected a SPECTACULAR season opener. This was good, but it was "regular episode good" and not, "Thanks you Fans, We're Back good." I'm on episode 3 and for me, this episode is the spark that I was looking for, the mixture of what made for some of the best episodes of Lucifer, the suspense, the drama of the personal relationship of the partners, the mystery and the focus on Lucifer's internal struggles. This to me is the quality I expected in episode one, which was easy to see the difference in the Netflix budget (seemingly much less than Fox). I'm glad it's back and I can't wait to finish the season. I hope it gets renewed!!!

I am so thrilled that NETFLIX chose to save this series. I am also thrilled to see that they have kept the feel and look and timber of the series. They are off to a really great start. I'm only sad that I will binge it and be done in a day or two and then will have to wait another year for the next installment.
