'Ringer's' Kristoffer Polaha joins 'Made in Jersey'

"Ringer's" Kristoffer Polaha is back in the ring -- as a series regular on CBS' new legal drama "Made in Jersey," TVLine reports. In "Jersey," which stars Martina Garretti as a street-smart attorney at a top New York City law firm, Polaha will play third-year associate Nolan. Now broke, Nolan hails from Manhattan's upper-crust and should be a perfect foil for Garretti's sassy Jersey girl. Kyle MacLachlan also stars as the firm's big boss. Before playing opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in "Ringer," canceled by the CW last year after one season, Polaha also starred in the CW's short-lived "Life Unexpected.""Made in Jersey" will air Fridays at 9 p.m. on CBS beginning this fall.... //

With New Jersey so much a focus of reality TV these days, it was just a matter of time until a scripted program came along to take advantage of this Garden State fascination. The first entry into this world is the CBS legal drama "Made in Jersey."The series features Janet Montgomery as a street smart lawyer who is looking to make her mark at a high-powered New York firm. But her North Jersey ways don't always match up well with her well-pedigreed co-workers, including Kyle MacLachlan. Take a first look at CBS’s new series  Made in Jersey  which premieres this Fall 2012 on Fridays at 9pm. "Made in Jersey" is a drama about a young working-class woman who uses her street smarts to compete among her pedigreed Manhattan  colleagues at a prestigious New York law firm. Martina Garretti (Janet Montgomery) finds her firm’s cutthroat landscape challenging, but what she lacks in an Ivy League education she more than makes up for with tenacity and blue-collar insight. After just a few weeks, firm founder Donovan Stark (Kyle MacLachlan), takes note of Martina’s ingenuity and resourcefulness, as does her sassy secretary Cyndi Vega (Toni Trucks). With the support of her big Italian family, including her sexy older sister Bonnie (Erin Cummings), Martina is able to stay true to her roots as a bold, passionate lawyer on the rise in a new  intimidating environment .
