Wi Mae Ri was always on the move, as her father's failed businesses kept them running from debt collectors. Despite this, she's remained cheerful and level-headed, so much so that she becomes fast friends with Kang Moo Kyul, a free-spirited indie singer who she almost ran over with a car. Her father, Wi Dae Han, is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who has returned from Japan with boons from the entertainment industry. But his generosity comes with a cost: Mae Ri must marry Jung Suk's son. And what more, Jung Suk is secretly in love with Mae Ri's mother. To escape this arranged marriage, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to stage a marriage, leading her into more and more complicated situations.
