As their prize for winning the Mystery Box ‘Lucky Dip’ Challenge, Sun, Peter and Craig faced off against Coda’s executive chef Adam D'Sylva, with three Immunity Pins on the line. The three dishes being cooked: Crispy noodle salad with pork, scallop with pearl tapioca, and seared ocean trout with black pepper sauce. While Sun and Craig seemed in control with their dishes, Peter struggled with pin boning the fish and didn’t start the sauce early enough for it to adequately reduce. George, Matt and guest judge Mark Jensen, head chef at Red Lantern, each rated the contestants’ dishes 7/10, while Adam was awarded a 9/10 across the board, easily winning the Challenge.
