For the first Elimination round, the Red Team took part in a Taste Test, having to isolate the ingredients in a Tagine. The first five to guess incorrectly went into a sudden death cook-off, where they had to utilise five of the Tagine’s ingredients to produce a dish of their own. Deb, Andrew, Matt, Filippo and Emma battled for survival, with Matt and Filippo particularly struggling. With his undercooked lamb, Matt was deemed to have produced the weakest result and was Eliminated from the competition.
