Review of Money Heist

Fridays, 3:00 AM ET on Netflix

60 minutes

A master stroke devised and perfected for years, planned for months and executed in a few minutes so that the chosen group of thieves who enters the National Mint and Timbre at gunpoint make the police believe that their plan has failed... And that they are besieged inside the building with no other exit than their surrender.

I don't understand all the super glowing reviews about this show. It's basically a spanish, but completely americanized, show about a heist. Sure, cool, but sooo many plot holes, so many "forced" twists and I'm not even going to talk about the ending. Like, seriously, there is no way that would be allowed to go through. I was cringing all the time. Sure, it's great that a Spanish show reached so many international viewers but I think it could be way better. I honestly don't get the hype. If we're gonna talk about thieves I'd rather re-watch Leverage or Ocean's 11. And that snobby ass professor.... Just pissed me off the whole time. (Top moments were the "Bella Ciao" ones. Lovely stuff)
