Obito remains in recovery state and being guarded by White Zetsus. Obito remains determined to leave the Mountain Graveyard but the White Zetsus continue to persuade him to stay. As time goes by, Obito trains himself along with the Zetsus so he can accumulate much strength in order to regroup with his friends Rin and Kakashi. Suddenly, a White Zetsu emerges and tells Obito about the presence of Kakashi and Rin battling Blood Mist ninjas. Obito, who is still determined, smashes the boulder that seals them but his right arm suddenly amputates. With the help of Spiral Zetsu, Obito finally leaves the Mountain Graveyard but Madara insists Obito that he must return. Obito rushes to the battlefield, but to his shock he sees Kakashi piercing Rin with Raikiri. Obito, now enraged, unleashes a barrage of attacks to the Blood Mist ninjas and uses its Wood Style attacks to annihilate the enemies. After his brutal offense, Obito now realizes that he is in hell.
