Scott Wolf Returning to NCIS January 3

Following a mysterious appearance on the NCIS Season 9 premiere , Scott Wolf has not been seen or heard from since, but he will be back on the show in its first episode of 2012, according to reports. If you recall, Wolf played Stratton ... if that's even his real name. As part of the Phantom Eight storyline, he was working with Latham, head of the ONI's Watcher Fleet. The extent of their machinations wasn't overtly explained, but thanks to Mike Franks (RIP), Gibbs knows the uber-secret agent was (and is) involved in the selling of state secrets contained in the infamous microchip. That microchip almost got DiNozzo killed - more than once. Fortunately, Tony survived, but in the new year, "Stratton intends to finish what he started and influence some unexpected lives in the process," executive producer Gary Glasberg tells TV Line , "including Gibbs’." CIA Agent Ray Cruz (Enrique Murciano) makes an appearance, and according to the show's executive producer, his intentions are clear. Ray "returns to sweep Ziva David off her feet," Gary Glasberg says . Read More... //

Best 'NCIS' Quotes from 'Sins of the Father'

This episode of NCIS brought father (guest star Robert Wagner) and son DiNozzo back together. When that happens, you know there are going to be some good quotes. //

CBS Bungles the Robert Wagner Case

Robert Wagner  reprised his recurring role as Anthony DiNozzo, Sr., the devil-may-care dad who often needs his son, Tony ( Michael Weatherly ), to help get him out of scrapes. And the one in "Sins of the Father" was a doozy: The patriarch woke up drunk behind the wheel of a car with a dead sailor in the trunk—a guy he'd threatened to kill over a land deal gone bad. Robert Wagner Back as DiNozzo's Father, And a Suspect, on 'NCIS' (VIDEO)

It's always good television when Robert Wagner reprises as DiNozzo Sr. on 'NCIS' (Tue., 8PM ET on CBS), but his appearance brought a whole new dymanic to his character, and his relationship with his son. Particularly, because it also brought with it a dead body in the trunk of his car. Making matters worse, Senior had threatened to kill the man after he got screwed by him on a deal. He also claimed no recollection of the events leading up to his discovery in the rented Rolls with a stowaway in the trunk. It showed a different, more desperate and less smarmy side to Senior that was nice to see. //
