FOX fall TV 2013 premiere dates: 'New Girl' Season 3, 'Bones' Season 9 and more start a little early

FOX has announced premiere dates for its fall schedule, and as usual the network will launch its series both earlier and later than the other networks.Four nights of programming and shows including "Bones," "Glee," "New Girl" and "The X Factor" will premiere before the official start of the 2013-14 season on Sept. 23. "Bones" is also shifting from Monday to Friday in November. Here's the full rundown of FOX's fall premieres. All times are Eastern/Pacific, and new shows are in bold. TV ratings: 'The Voice' tops Memorial Day, 'Bachelorette' premiere so-so

Fast National ratings for Monday, May 27, 2013"The Voice" and "Revolution" had a pretty clear path to the top of the ratings Monday, as there was less competition than the two shows have faced during the regular TV season. "The Voice" continued its downward trend since it began its live shows, but it still led the night by a wide margin in both viewers and adults 18-49.NBC's only real challenge came from the premiere of "The Bachelorette" on ABC. It was down a good amount from last year's premiere -- which benefited from a "Dancing With the Stars" lead-in -- but up a little from its Memorial Day airing in 2012.NBC averaged 9.4 million viewers and a 5.6 rating/9 share in households for the night. ABC (5.8 million, 3.8/6) came in second, ahead of CBS (4.35 million, 2.8/5). The CW (1.5 million, 1.0/2) managed to edge out FOX (1.4 million, 0.9/2) in viewers.NBC easily led... //

'New Girl' Season 2 finale: 'Cotton Eyed Joe,' un-calling Jess and Nick, and a badger beat the wedding in 'Elaine's Big Day'

"New Girl" may have just given its viewers one of the most satisfying season enders in history with its Season 2 finale episode, "Elaine's Big Day." It had everything! A wedding -- and a relationship -- broke up in spectacular fashion. Jess and Nick kissed before riding off into the night. There was a huge guest star in Taylor Swift. A badger played a major role. What more could anyone want?Does this mean "Cotton Eyed Joe" is Jess and Nick's song?Who would have expected that a silly -- but catchy! -- song would be the thing that destroyed Cece's wedding but simultaneously cemented Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) as a couple? Because they are most definitely a couple now.It was touch-or-go for a bit, of course. Jess didn't want to have anything to do with an immature Nick who would play pranks to disrupt a wedding. And Nick got angry because Jess thought... //
