While continuing on their journey to Iccirus City, Ash and friends are walking along a mountain when all of a sudden boulders come crashing down towards them. They are saved by a man named Brycen, whom Cilan recognizes as his favorite movie star. After witnessing his power, Ash asks to receive some training from Brycen. He agrees, but his training proves to be much more than Ash and Krokorok can handle. However, their training is soon interrupted when Brycen realizes that a Pokémon Hunter is attacking Volcarona, the guardian of the mountain. Everyone races to stop the Hunter and save Volcarona.
