Private Practice  is coming off a very bad night. A  very strong episode , but one rather intense evening at the hospital, that's for sure. Next Tuesday, meanwhile, reality television cameras will invade this Shonda Rhimes drama, as an installment centered around Sam introduces viewers to his mother (played by Alfre Woodard) and the search for that missing girl continues.
