Now That Private Practice Is Over, Addison Should Go Back to Grey’s Anatomy

Private Practice was never as good as Grey's Anatomy . The spinoff ended for good last night, with the requisite weddings and pregnancies and book deals for everyone — it really was a fitting send-off for the schmaltzy, hyperemotional soap. But the end of Practice shouldn't be the end of the character Addison Montgomery. She needs to return to Grey's , where she started. Addison should have gone back earlier this season , when her ex-boyfriend Mark died. But now Grey's needs her more than ever! First, Seattle Grace appears not to have an obstetrician, and surely the crunchy people of the Pacific Northwest still have their fair share of problematic pregnancies and deliveries. Think of all the gestation story lines the show is not currently tackling just because no one is an OB/GYN. Get on this baby train! 'Private Practice' Finale: Everyone Gets A Happy Ending

After six seasons, it was time to say goodbye to " Private Practice ." And after plenty of ups and downs and struggles along the way, Addison finally got her "happily ever after." It was a simple, yet elegant ceremony that saw Addison and Jake share vows. In fact, it was happiness throughout the episode, despite the advancement of Miranda's cancer. In fact, Sheldon quit his job and demanded that she allow him to stay by her side until the end. Despite her stubborn streak, she acquiesced. So even though it will be a sad ending, there was still happiness for the couple that they would be able to spend whatever time she has left enjoying life to the fullest. Naomi and Sam certainly enjoyed Addison's wedding night, stealing away for a late-night rendezvous. Thirteen weeks later, the results of that tryst were gestating in Naomi's womb, and she was terrified to tell Sam. Sam had a girlfriend, after all. But that didn't stop Addison. She didn't tell Sam about the pregnancy, but just how much she knew Naomi loved him. That was enough for Sam to break off his relationship and seek Naomi out. She thought he was choosing her for the baby, but he hadn't known until she spilled it in their encounter that she was pregnant. What she didn't expect was for him to embrace both her and their coming child. And so Naomi and Sam got their own happy ending in the form of the second wedding of the hour. The episode ended with the completion of Violet's latest book, which is the story of all of them. She's decided to call the book "Private Practice." And thus the show ended with a final scene where the cast debatee whether or not that name sucks. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser. //feeds.huffingtonpost.com/~r/HP/Entertainment/~3/z8leljLxzWc/private-practice-finale-endings-video_n_2531358.html

[Warning: This story contains major spoilers from the series finale of Private Practice . Read at your own risk!]  When Addison ( Kate Walsh ) showed up at Seattle Grace in the Season 1 finale of Grey's Anatomy , we hated her. But by the time executive producer Shonda Rhimes sent Addison packing for the Private Practice spin-off, we truly loved her. We hoped she'd find a way to have a child. We hoped she'd find love. We'd hope she'd find happiness. In Tuesday's Private Practice series finale, Addison had finally found it all...  //www.tvguide.com/News/Private-Practice-Series-Finale-1059449.aspx?rss=breakingnews

Amy Brenneman Teases Private Practice Finale, "Concluding the Novel"

She couldn't zero in on an exact number, but Amy Brenneman laughed at the question and admitted to me over the phone last week: Yes, viewers will likely need a "few" boxes of Kleenex while watching tonight's Private Practice finale . The episode, of course, centers on Addison's wedding to Jake and, unlike most of the installments that have comprised Private Practice Season 6 , Brenneman describes this one was appropriately "communal." //www.tvfanatic.com/2013/01/amy-brenneman-teases-private-practice-finale-concluding-the-nove/

We spoke to series co-star Amy Brenneman about what was coming in the finale and what it was like to leave Seaside Wellness after so many years. How are you feeling at the end of 'Private Practice'?Amy Brenneman: Sad! I mean, we wrapped the show about a month ago, so I went through that goodbye already. But I was thinking -- there's today and next week and then that's really it. Another ending. What was it like for you and everyone else at 'Private Practice' when you wrapped the show?Amy Brenneman: Oh, it was bittersweet. It was kind of like the end of college in a weird way.
