OMG this show is amazing!! The cast, the connection with Dion and his mother!!! DION makes the show!!! That ending I did not see coming. It's a great overall show that touches on the issues with racism. I really hope it gets renewed!!!

Dion saved the show. Horrible acting from adults and I cannot even start on script and directing...so so so many mistakes. But is still recommend to watch it.

This little boys acting skills are better than some "actors"out here. He did such a good job.

I was pleasantly blown away by this show. I don't know where to begin to describe it, because it's just so much more than I thought it would be. The synopsis doesn't do it justice. The title is great in that it signals that Dion is NOT the main character (his mom is), but it doesn't fully capture the truth of this show: Raising Dion was a struggle even before he started developing super powers.

And the struggle is real. Everything in this show has emotional weight behind it, and for so many of us who have seen hard times, it will resonate. Sacrifices made to keep a job, love, loss, family drama, wanting to be left alone but desperately in need of help--it's all so painfully real. And Dion's mom nails the depth of her character, which is no simple task.

And the storyline, while a little messy in regards to the super-power side of things, is also very well executed. They manage to use dialogue in creative ways to give us the history we need without it feeling ham-fisted. I'm really harsh about expose dialogue (I hate it so much), and I don't recall a single time in this show where I felt like a line was added just so we could understand something. The dialogue is smooth and natural.

I'll be eagerly awaiting a season 2. Can't wait to see how Dion grows and how the story plays out.

She's not doing a very good job of hiding his powers. Hoping for more action excitement super hero things but from a kids point of view not like the adult super hero's eg: superman, batman etc. Acting is good.
