TV ratings: 'Modern Family' and 'Blue Bloods' lead a quiet Christmas night

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013The country had better things to do on Christmas night than park itself in front of the TV, and ratings were unsurprisingly low across the board for the broadcast networks as they all aired full slates of repeats.The night's top performers were "Blue Bloods" on CBS, which led the viewer race, and "The Middle" and "Modern Family" on ABC, which had the best 18-49 performance in primetime.CBS averaged 4.6 million viewers and a 2.8 rating/5 share in households. NBC (3 million, 1.9/4) came in second, beating out ABC's 2.7 million viewers and 1.6/3. FOX (1.4 million, 0.9/2) finished fourth, and The CW (903,000, 0.5/1) trailed.None of the broadcast nets made it to a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49. TV ratings: CBS wins Friday with 'Blue Bloods,' 'Hawaii Five-0,' 'Undercover Boss' combo

Fast national ratings for Friday, December 13, 2014 Despite a valiant effort on the part of ABC's reality hit "Shark Tank," a brand-new episode of "Blue Bloods" helped snag the nightly win for CBS. The CW's "The Carrie Diaries" and "Nikita" were down even lower from last week's not-so-stellar numbers, while FOX's "Raising Hope" dipped ever-so-slightly. CBS pulled in an average 8.97 million viewers and a 5.7 rating/10 household share to win the night. ABC's "Shark Tank" success landed the alphabet network in second place, with 6.1 million viewers and a 3.9/7. NBC came in third with 5.25 million viewers and a 3.4/6. FOX trailed with 2.76 million viewers and a 1.7/3, while The CW lagged behind with 704,000 viewers (0.5/1). Fast National ratings for Friday, Dec. 6, 2013It was a quiet Friday across the board, with new ABC shows, including "Shark Tank" as the no. 1 program of the night for total viewers, propelling the alphabet network to a win. "Grimm" and "Dracula" were both up, helping NBC take second place. ABC averaged 5.95 million viewers and a 3.9 rating/7 share in households for the win, followed closely by NBC at 5.8 million and a 3.7/6. CBS was a close third at 5.7 million and a 3.5/6. FOX was fourth at 4.6 million and a 2.8/5 and the CW trailed with 900,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.  NBC and ABC tied for the adults 18-49 demo win with a 1.4 and CBS and FOX tied for second with a 1.2.
