This show almost makes you wanna be in THAT hospital. Great characters well played. I am curious if those high standards can be maintained without being boring or ridiculous.

In my opinion you might like this show if you also enjoyed "Hart of Dixie". In the same way, this show is NOT REALISTIC, often SIMPLIFYING and sometimes just a little TOO MUCH OVER THE TOP. Reminding me somehow of Brecht and his epic Theater! The viewer is mostly aware that this is just a show and nowhere near reality.

To me, those are not bad things.

I really like this show and I think it has a great message, especially for young folks. To see that it is in danger fo being canceled just bites, given some of the crap that has already been renewed. When will networks start listening that the biggest group that still watches TV are NOT the 18-49 yr olds, but folks that are older. We are the demographic that tv advertising should be geared towards as those of us that are 49+ generally have the buying power that still watch traditional tv. Wake up tv network idiots! Pay attention to who watches traditional tv and give those of us that do our due! Even though this show has a great message for younger folks, it is still a great show to watch and get the message. Octavia Spencer is just fabulous in this show!

The show exhaustively pulls out every type of corn fed platitude on the face of the planet to teach you oversimplified things about life etc. I cannot do it. If you are into that type of thing this is going to be the best show you ever watched. I just cant do, its not im me as a person. I have to invest to care not just be told i should.

This show has so much heart! I love most of the characters and their interactions. The storylines are sweet and heartfelt. I know this show is likely to be cancelled, but I really hope it gets a chance to develop more

Another feel-good drama that's a little too corny for its own good. Heartfelt and sentimental, this rehash of Fault in Our Stars and Breakfast Club takes kids from several backgrounds who are forced to cope with their medical conditions and learn to support each other. However, some of the kids' dialogue and behaviors don't feel right or realistic.

Well I watched this not expecting anything fantastic, and was crying by the end. Absolutely beautiful, can't wait to see how this progresses. I am already totally invested in the characters. Still absolutely loving this, brilliant

Very new look at comedy hospital drama from patients perspectives with enough sarcasm and sass to make anyone crack a smile

I find this show polarizing. I either like something or it's the most annoying thing ever. For example I love Leo, I find his character very real. In fact, I think I find (or see the potential for) most of the main character complex people who exist outside of stereotypes. Those things I hate, however, are so grating as to be distracting. The narration! It like watching the show with a 9 year old who doesn't know you're not suppose to talk during a show, or like watching with particularly crap commentary. Never, not once, did I feel like the narration was needed. And the cheerleader girl. Ugh, it's as if someone wrote all the things they hate about "this generation" into one character. I know she's suppose to be unlikable, but she's so stereotypical and un-nuisance that her place in the show is questionable.

It wasn't the best show or best pilot ever, but the foundation is good. It has heart. I'm willing to give it a few more episodes to find it's feet.
