Revenge Reviews & Ratings

60 minutes

Emily Thorne (Emily Van Camp) is new to the Hamptons. She's met some of her wealthy neighbors, has made a few new friends and seemingly blends into the town. But something is a little odd about a young girl living in a wealthy town all on her own, and the truth is that Emily isn't exactly new to the neighborhood. In fact, this was once her old neighborhood, until something bad happened that ruined her family and their reputation. Now Emily is back, and she's returned to right some of those wrongs in the best way she knows how – with a vengeance.

This show makes all the lessons from childhood seem pointless; revenge is always the answer, and Emily Thorn (played by Emily VanCamp) makes it downright sexy. From the very beginning this show has centred around Emily's quest to clear her father's name. And while the show keeps that premise to a certain degree, the show doesn't always stay true to the storyline it's spent time developing. Although the writing is amazing and Emily's monologues are comparable to Meredith's from Grey's Anatomy, the plot twists in this show seems like an after thought. The story just doesn't seem to flow, but the directors and producers do a good job of keeping the drama and suspense high. So even though the plot of the show could be kept more uniform, the show does an excellent job of delivering action, romance and drama.

After the end of Season 2 it kind of got boring, and now Victoria's Revenge? No! I'll be watching this show only to see what is going on with Emily/Amanda's father...

After two seasons of enthralling plot twists and brilliant writing, it seemed that throughout much of season three of revenge, the writers had taken a hiatus and left the set assistant in charge! Season four however is proving to be just as, if not more captivating than any of its predecessors, as we are taken on a tumultuous journey of emotions while Emily finds that the father whose memory she dedicated her life to, may not be the man she remembers.

First i didn't liked the show. A year later i gave it another try and loved it. But now i'm kind of tiered of the series, too much plot twists between Emily and David.

Starts off with a bang slows down after the first season but an extremely interesting show.

Okay truthfully, I feel like the title should be Avenge and not Revenge, because she is doing this for her father. Honestly, this show is a little everywhere so it is hard to explain, but basically she is subtly attack this family that framed her father.
