Revenge Season 3 is nearly upon us and the Grayson’s are doing some damage control. In fact, the renown Hamptons family has enlisted Devious Maids and Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz for some help in revamping the Grayson image. Ana first confirmed her stint on the shoreside drama during an interview with Latina magazine. “I’m doing an episode of Revenge, the ABC show,” she revealed when asked what was up next for her. Revenge ended last season on quite a few cliffhangers. Emily and Daniel were engaged, but did that change after she revealed her true identity to Jack? Two sneak peeks from Sunday's Revenge installment hint at an explosive night - not that the extended Revenge Season 3 preview didn't already give that away - when the series returns. What we now know, thanks to this clip, is that the season-opening flash-forward (a Revenge staple) features Emily / Amanda offering an apology for something, being shot and tumbling into the sea. After this scene, one assumes the show will return to several months prior and build up to this event midway through the season. At least that's our theory.
