‘Community’ and ‘Revolution’ Cancelled by NBC

It looks like it is five seasons and no movie for NBC’s  Community . EW  reports NBC has officially cancelled the beloved cult comedy. It seems the series could survive its now infamous gas leak season, but not steeply declining ratings. However,  Community  might defy death just yet, as Sony TV could try shopping it around to other networks, or perhaps Hulu since the streaming site owns the digital rights. Read More... //

TV ratings: 'The 100' starts strong for The CW, 'Survivor' tops 'American Idol' Wednesday

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, March 19, 2014The premiere of "The 100" Wednesday gave The CW its biggest total audience in its timeslot in more than three years, and it also became the first show to build on an "Arrow" lead-in among total viewers. Its 18-49 rating was on par with that of "The Tomorrow People's" series premiere in the fall.Elsewhere Tuesday, "Survivor: Cagayan" pulled off a sweep against "American Idol" in their shared hour. Although "Survivor" was down a bit from last week, it topped "Idol" in the 8 o'clock hour in both viewers and adults 18-49. "Criminal Minds" also fell for CBS, as did all three of NBC's dramas.CBS scored 9.9 million viewers and a 6.2 rating/10 share in households for the night, beating out FOX's 9.7 million and 6.0/10. NBC (5.2 million, 3.5/6) came in third. ABC took fourth with 3.8 million viewers and a 2.5/4, and The CW (2.5 million, 1.6/3)... //
