Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 13 Review: Ocean Frank

Saying goodbye can be so hard. Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 13 mixed heartfelt video tributes with one last case. There were lots of tearful goodbyes as Jane, Maura and Vince all quit the police force to move onto new adventures. Jane will be teaching FBI recruits, Maura will be in Paris writing a novel, and Vince is retiring. After seven years with these characters, I almost wish there was a spin-off series showing what everyone is doing next. ...  Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/09/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-13-review-ocean-frank/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 12 Review: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

With one episode left to go, Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 12 moved fully into wrap-up territory. Most of the hour was dedicated to an old case and an old flame of Vince's, allowing him to -- predictably, yet emotionally -- find the peace he needed to finally retire. Meanwhile, Jane got ready for her move and began a new romance while Frankie and Nina forged ahead with their determination to get married....   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/08/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-12-review-yesterday-today-tom/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 11 Review: Stiffed

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 10 Review: For Richer or Poorer

Supposedly dead or divorced spouses resurfacing are a staple on soap operas, but do we really need them on a crime drama? It was great to get a glimpse into Maura's past, but Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 10 felt like manufactured drama. Maura suddenly had a husband that nobody including viewers ever heard of before, complete with an annoying mother-in-law. Meanwhile, Angela was forced to face her issues when Ron resurfaced in her life. ....  Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/08/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-10-review-for-richer-or-poore/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 9 Review: 65 Hours

That was certainly different. Almost every episode of Rizzoli & Isles follows the same format, where Jane and Maura get called to the crime scene while in the middle of a personal conversation. Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 9 , however, broke ties with the formula. Instead, the detectives raced against the clock to try to find missing evidence and put a murderer away.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/08/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-9-review-65-hours/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 8 Review: 2M7258-100

When Rizzoli & Isles brings it, it really brings it. Sometimes the cases are silly, but Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 8 pulls out all the stops for the series' 100th episode, telling an emotional story while setting things up for the end of the series. "2M7248-100" was ostensibly about Jane going undercover, but the theme of the hour was change. Jane feared it, and by the episode's end had made a strong decision about her future.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/07/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-8-review-2m7258-100/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 7 Review: Dead Weight

Sometimes change can be a good thing. On Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 7 , Jane reluctantly goes to Quantico to give a lecture while Maura works with Frankie, and Angela searches for a new apartment. Did these changes really do anything for the series?...   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/07/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-7-review-dead-weight/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 6 Review: There Be Ghosts

Quirky cases are a hit or miss proposition. Sometimes they are interesting, other times silly. Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 6 looked like it was going to be ridiculous from the previews, but turned out to be much better than expected. The case of the hour involved the murder of a cancer patient in what looked like an abandoned hospital. In actuality, it turned out to be a new wing that was still being worked on.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/07/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-6-review-there-be-ghosts/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 5 Review: Shadow of Doubt

Finally, an episode of Rizzoli & Isles that's more serious than silly! Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 5 featured an interesting case involving a fall down the stairs that wasn't so accidental. Even better, there were a couple of nice moments between Maura and Jane. And Maura's bio mom was back. The case of the hour has been fairly ridiculous lately, but this one was an exception. The episode began with a dark, creepy scene of a woman screaming and someone sneaking through the house, ultimately ending with a gruesome discovery: a body at the bottom of the stairs.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/06/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-5-review-shadow-of-doubt/

Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 4 Review: Post Mortem

There's an awful lot of unsolicited advice going around in Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 4 . Angela thinks Vince should get Kiki a less practical birthday gift. Kent thinks Maura should get surgery to correct her cognitive issues. And Jane thinks Maura's attempt to try new activities is silly. That doesn't even count all the opinions coming from the quirky guest of the hour, CJ the Postal Inspector.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/06/rizzoli-and-isles-season-7-episode-4-review-post-mortem/
