Bret Michaels interview on 'Oprah': Every hospital bed has its badass bandana

'Bret, you're aliiiiiiiive!' Oprah boomed at the beginning of today's talk show. Recovering cowboy Bret Michaels appeared via satellite from Phoenix in his first television interview since his April 21 brain hemorrhage. He sounded fine, his royal blue bandana was pressed and thick-cut, and the cold sore he was rocking on the penultimate episode of The Celebrity Apprentice was nowhere in sight. There was a noticeable droop on one side of his face - a rep for Michaels confirmed to Access Hollywood today that 'this is a result of the hemorrhage and possibly exacerbated by some of the medications he is on' and is hopeful that with further rehabilitation, the droop will eventually go away. After a dramatic crossfade from Bret's CAT Scan to a photograph of his real noggin, Bret told Oprah about the 'thunderclap' effect of his sudden brain trauma. 'It sounded like a small handgun went off in the back of my head,' said Michaels. 'There was no lead-up at all. It just exploded.' To Read More Click Here .

Bret Michaels says 'Rock of Love' was fun, but is it done?

Bret Michaels is all business when it comes to the third season of "The Celebrity Apprentice"; so much so that he's not quite forthcoming about his love life. On a conference call to promote the NBC reality show, the musician was evasive when answering if his VH1 dating show "Rock of Love" would be back for a fourth season. "On 'Rock of Love,' obviously I loved doing it. It was the No. 1 show for VH1 three years in a row," Michaels said on a conference call. "I mean, it's basically drinking and dating, it can't be that hard. Sucking face and debauchery, that's the way it is. To go back to 'Rock of Love' would be a lot of fun." Michaels declared Jes Rickleff, Ambre Lake and then Penthouse pet Taya Parker as the winners of their respective "Rock of Love" seasons, but obviously, none of the relationships lasted long beyond the show. "I was really excited about being on 'Celebrity Apprentice' to show that there's also another side [to me]," he added. "I enjoyed every minute and there's no doubt this show is a huge success, and if some of those people come back to watch the other one, that's great." To Read More Click Here .

'Rock of Love' Star Bret Michaels Discusses Music and Family

In between dating Rock of Love Bus winner Taya and the numerous tours with his band, Bret Michaels says that one of his priorities is simply being a dad. He recently talked to Sioux Falls Argus Leader about the memoir he just released, titled "Bret Michaels: Roses and Thorns." There's no doubt the musician is enjoying his success, but there's more to it that we think. With a solo album "Rock My World" to his credit, Bret Michaels has been gaining even more fans for his efforts. Even though he's used to the thousands of girls screaming his name, he still finds the life of a rockstar exciting. "I love where I'm at in my life," the Rock of Love reality star revealed. "I love that I get to travel, I love the fact that I have two daughters. I feel that as a musician, I'm learning every day and playing better every day. That's part of what I got into it for was the longevity. I never wanted to have one of those paparazzi overnight successes. I like having a career." Now that he's busy making music on his own, Bret Michaels is finding the work to be such a thrill. "I love making solo music," he exclaimed. "To actually go in and make a solo record, I have complete freedom of production. [...] I'm still very thankful for all that I've gotten to do with Poison as well." As for his family life, Bret has always tried to put his kids first. He has a 9-year-old named Raine Elizabeth and a 4-year-old called Jorja Bleu. "I see my daughters almost every day off," he revealed. "I bring them on the road with me." "In my life, one thing that I know that I love doing and that I'm good at is that I'm a good father. It's a lot of trial and error. At the same time, I love being with my daughters. It happened to me at a good time in my life. When they come out on the road, they're little rockers, and they enjoy it." Source Here

Rock of Love Bus Girls Check In To VH1's Charm Scool

With Rock of Love Bus coming to an end, some of the most memorable characters from this season will be making their way to another Vh1 reality show: Charm School with Ricki Lake. VH1 announced today the ladies of Rock of Love who will be joining this season's Charm School and by the looks of it, this season is going to be a doozie. Warring parties will be brought back under one roof, including the entirety of the blondtourage, former porn star Brittaney Starr and everyone's favorite Brazilian alcoholic, Marcia. This season of Charm School will combine girls from Rock of Love Bus and Real Chance of Love in a new take on the VH1 show. The official cast from Rock of Love Bus consists of: Ashley, Beverly, Brittaney, Brittanya, Farrah, Gia, Marcia, and Natasha. The Real Chance of Love girls checking into Charm School will be: Bay Bay Bay, Bubbles, Ki Ki, K.O., Risky, and So Hood. While I am glad they are bringing the crazy back to Charm School in a big way with the Rock of Love girls, my only disappointment is that DJ Lady Tribe won't be part of the cast. For gods sake, she took a body shot out of another girls vagina, during the first episode of Rock of Love Bus! She is most definitely in need of a little charm, class, and refinement. On the other hand, at least they got all the drink throwers on the cast, and I for one, am looking forward to a rematch between Gia and Beverly and Brittaney versus everyone. However, this season isn't just about charm and manners. New host Ricki Lake has a new plan to turn these contestants from trashy to classy. Instead of teaching the girls manners and charm, the girls on this season of Charm School will be challenged to find their selfless side by working at various non-profits and charities. According to the VH1 press release, "These ladies will have to take on real responsibilities with non-profit organizations. With Ricki's guidance and expertise, the girls will contribute time to a different charity each week. Their volunteer jobs will include working with senior citizens, environmental preservation, mentoring underprivileged children, and animal rescue and care. For the final task and one of the show's biggest challenges to date, the girls will be sent to the devastated Ninth Ward in New Orleans. There they will help with the ongoing rebuilding efforts to restore the region most ravaged by Hurricane Katrina." Can you imagine the blondtourage doing hands on charity work? I mean, these are women who insisted on applying lip gloss during the Mud Bowl! Vh1's Charm School with Ricki Lake premieres Monday May 11th at 9/8c, so be sure to tune in for more blondtourage insanity and to catch up with your Rock of Love Bus and Real Chance at Love favorites.
