Sorata receives a letter from a computer game company stating that his proposal passed the initial screening and that he will be presenting it to the company. He spends time drafting and practicing his presentation with the residents. When it came time to present his proposal, Sorata is overwhelmed and the proposal ends up getting rejected. As Sorata returns to the dormitory isolating himself from the rest of the residents, Misaki asks the residents to play in the pool at their school claiming that she got approval from Chihiro to use it. But it turns out to be a prank as getting approval for such a request is impossible. However, Sorata gets over his dejection from his failed proposal.
