SNL: How Did Vince Vaughn Do as Host?

Vince Vaughn hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend for the first time in 15 years, with musical guest Miguel . The episode included spoofs of the gun-control debate and (of course) Brad Paisley and LL Cool J 's misguided duet "Accidental Racist." Check out some of the highlights from Saturday's episode below. 'Saturday Night Live' charms with Margaret Thatcher homage

Though it didn't included host Vince Vaughn, the best sketch of the April 12 episode of "Saturday Night Live" was definitely its loving homage to Margaret Thatcher. Britain's "Iron Lady" passed away on April 8 at age 87, and SNL regulars like Fred Armisen and Bill Hader quickly put together a Digital Short to honor the former Prime Minister. The sketch was positioned as an episode of a VH1-style show called "History of Punk" that featured the band Ian Rubbish and the Bizzaros -- basically a rip off of the Sex Pistols. Armisen played Rubbish, a punk rocker who hated the queen and pretty much everyone else but absolutely adored Thatcher. He wrote a song that included the lyrics, "Hey Maggie Thatcher, you're all right," which one of his bandmates "thought was a joke" but "it turns out he just really liked her."Case in point: the B-side to Rubbish's comeback album "Living in the Gutter"... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/04/saturday-night-live-charms-with-margaret-thatcher-homage.html

'Saturday Night Live' promo: Vince Vaughn forgets when the show is

Vince Vaughn is returning to host "Saturday Night Live" for the first time in 15 years, and it seems that all those years away have taken their toll on his memory. In a series of promos from his return, he tells Bobby Moynihan that live on Saturday just won't work for him. Why, you ask? "I've just got stuff to do," Vaughn explains. "I'm supposed to see this allergist, I gotta do my taxes and there's no way I can cancel my swim class, but it's fine. I'll bring in a double, no one will know."His double Vinny ought to work out just fine. Like Vaughn says, just put a sweater on him. Watch the promos above and don't miss Vaughn's expert advice for Moynihan on how to pick up chicks. Are you excited for Vince's return to "SNL"?... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/04/saturday-night-live-promo-vince-vaughn-forgets-when-the-show-is.html
