'SYTYCD': Surprise Bottom Four Sends Two Favorites Home

The night started with four of the eight remaining dancers in danger on " So You Think You Can Dance ." But none of them managed to steal the show once former contestant and choreographer Travis Wall hit the stage with contestant Amy Yakima. Still, the four did everything they could to impress, as this was the judges' last chance to have a voice in who goes home. Starting next week, it's all up to America. It was up to Hayley Erbert, Fik-shun, Jenna Johnson and Tucker Knox to impress the judges with their solos. Ballroom dancers have always struggled with solo work, which is why Jenna brought out a skirt to partner with in her solo Paso Doble. Later, she danced a trippy jazz routine with Mark Kanemura, that figuratively brought HitFix's Liane Bonin Starr to her feet alongside the judges. " Jenna is, as always, great ," she wrote. "I know a lot of you do not like Jenna. I don't know what to say, because really, she's so skilled and, yes, fierce The twist this week was that the all-star performers also choreographed the routines for their partners, leading to a mostly solid lineup of performances. That said, it was clear which of the all-stars had more experience in choreography. The most experienced on the "SYTYCD" stage was Travis Wall, who's been choreographing for a few seasons now. He closed the show with a powerful contemporary piece with Amy that had the judges calling him a genius. There's a reason he's an Emmy-nominated choreographer. That performance stole the show, leaving only the nasty business of who to eliminate. Hayley, who danced a Rumba with Dmitry Chaplin, was safe, eliminating the aforementioned Jenna. Fik-shun lucked into another "SYTYCD" favorite with Allison Hoker, though it was his overall growth that saved him. That meant that Tucker, who gave a great performance with Courtney Galiano, was also sent home. At this stage, there are only good dancers left, so good dancers go home every week. Only six remain as "So You Think You Can Dance" moves toward its finale, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser. //feeds.huffingtonpost.com/~r/HP/Entertainment/~3/GQ4oShOyNA8/so-you-think-you-can-dance-surprise-bottom-video_n_3788542.html

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE changes the judging dynamic a bit every week by adding a guest judge (or judges) to the established panel of Nigel Lythgoe (who is also an executive producer) and Mary Murphy.
