Suburgatory Sneak Peeks: Tessa & Dalia Clash Over a Boy Tonight

Suburgatory returns from its midseason hiatus tonight with a new episode titled "Driving Ms. Dalia". The episode opens with both Tessa and Dalia taking their driving tests. While Tessa passes the test and becomes a certified driver, Dalia fails in a spectacularly hilarious manner (for the umpteenth time). Later, Dalia begrudgingly asks Tessa for a favor: to drive her around town. More specifically, she wants Tessa to help drive her around so she can stalk her crush: Scott Strauss. Dalia's not brave enough to approach Scott Strauss directly (yes, he is now and forever known as Scott Strauss - full name), but when Tessa is forced to do so, she realizes that she may have more in common with Scott Strauss than she thought. On The Set: Jeremy Sisto Reflects On Life In Suburgatory

Wrapped in a white robe and surrounded by clouds of rising steam, Jeremy Sisto keeps adjusting his underwear. He's filming a scene in the sauna of the Chatswin Country Club, where his Suburgatory character, George, so desperately wants to fit in, but the director isn't happy with how Sisto's boxers keep peeking out. "The steam room — where all the secrets happen," Sisto says with a laugh. It's no secret the ABC comedy is one of the fall's biggest breakouts, and his on-screen daughter, Jane Levy , is quick to credit Sisto for its success. "Jeremy just has this presence," she says. "He's a presence-sucking monster — and he's also pretty funny." Having tackled his share of dramatic roles in the past, the actor was ready for something lighter. "It's always a little scary because... //

'Suburgatory': Carly Chaikin shows off Dalia's 'desperate' side

So far on the inaugural season of "Suburgatory," we've only really seen one side of Dalia Royce, the entitled, self-absorbed neighbor/nemesis of the show's main character, Tessa Altman. That will change on Wednesday (Jan. 4). The show's first episode of 2012, "Driving Miss Dalia," has Dalia (Carly Chaikin) actually confronting the feeling of wanting something she doesn't have -- a boy named Scott Strauss (guest star Thomas McDonell, "Prom"). "It's a side to Dalia the viewers haven't really seen before," the 21-year-old Chaikin tells Zap2it. "This guy in particular ... is kind of like her kryptonite. He's like a drug to her, and she's pining for him."So what will that look like? We've mostly seen Dalia get whatever she wants, so when that doesn't happen, does she lose ..."Her mind?" Chaikin finishes the sentence for us, laughing. "Yes. There's definitely physical comedy to it, definitely a lot of yelling, a lot of silly remarks and desperation.... //
