SUPERGIRL is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

So the first episode showed no real surprises, but exactly what you would expect. But it did a good job with that. Superman, Supergirl, one knows the drill, but as it is a classic I wouldn´t demand to much unexpected development right at the beginning. I like that they chose to put a lot females in powerful positions. It may seem exaggerated, but since every other show is full of powerful men, why complain about this one exception. A superheroshow will have a lot more even more unbelievable stuff. :)
Cara herself was a really easy to get in maincharacter. I do hope to see some more developments in her and her environment, but for now I am content.
