Supernatural Sneak Peek: Dean's Not Happy About 'New Bobby'

This week's Supernatural  ended on a bit of a cliffhanger that will likely explode in next week's episode.  Dean called in Sam as back-up when he and Benny ran into some trouble while going after Benny's sire.  In the final moments of "Blood Brothers", Sam and Dean's new vampire BFF came face-to-face in a very tense first meeting that nearly resulted in Sam making a move against Benny.  But Dean put the kibosh on any "kill Dean's new monster friend" plan Sam might have had and Benny - recognizing the tension between the brothers - made himself scarce. Sometimes it takes a while for Sam and Dean to really air their grievances against one another, but we'll be treated to a Winchester brother confrontation in the upcoming episode.  Garth returns when the brothers roll into town to investigate some strange deaths and we learn that an "avenging ghost" is the culprit here.  Whether the ghost actually possesses Sam and Dean or not, the two of them appear to have an argument about keeping secrets and how they spent their year apart ( watch a preview ).  Sam accuses Dean of keeping Benny a secret while Dean accuses Sam of leaving him in Purgatory for "a girl".  No matter the outcome, this confrontation needs to happen sooner rather than later. Hopefully they'll be able to reconnect once everything is out in the open.  Meanwhile, it turns out that Garth has taken over Bobby's duties (and some of his catch phrases), which doesn't exactly please Dean, who is still torn up over his surrogate father's death.  Watch a sneak peek below for the November 7 episode of Supernatural airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.  Browse through photos for the episode here . 'Supernatural' spoilers: Time travel explored again when a cult opens a portal

Some of the best "Supernatural" episodes have explored time travel -- and this season, they're taking a new angle on the classic genre. This time, though, it's not Sam and Dean doing the decade-hop. In episode 812, titled "As Time Goes By," we'll see a cult forming in 1958. The anti-demonic group has good intentions, as does Henry, a rookie member who joins the cult with the intention of protecting his 7-year-old son. Described as "Robert Downey Jr. meets Cary Grant," Henry is dapper, smart, and considerably cocky... until he rips open a time portal and finds himself hurtled into 2013, where he's a little off his game. He doesn't time-travel alone, though. He's followed through the portal by 28-year-old Josie Sands, a sexy, strong Katharine Hepburn type... with a secret. Needless to say, when Sam and Dean happen upon the time travelers in their hunt for a bloodthirsty demon, shenanigans ensue. Not to mention... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/11/supernatural-spoilers-time-travel-explored-again-when-a-cult-opens-a-portal.html

'Supernatural': Jensen Ackles previews pirate vampires & Castiel's secrets [VIDEO] @Superwiki @CW_Supernatural

On "Supernatural," lying is nothing new to the Winchesters -- in fact, this summer we spoke with writer Ben Edlund about what makes Sam and Dean so prone to hiding the truth from each other. This season is no exception to the rule, but in this week's episode, "Blood Brother," Dean finds himself in a situation where he can no longer lie to Sam about his new comrade-in-arms, Benny the vampire. "I liked the episode because I got to be on the water. Pirate vampires -- or as I like to call them, vampirates," Jensen Ackles joked while Zap2it was on set with him. It sounds fun, but as Dean's two worlds collide, things definitely get a little bit difficult, particularly because in some ways, the strength of Dean's relationship with Benny rivals his relationship with Sam."You hear these war stories of soldiers. You get a southern guy and a guy from New York, two... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/10/supernatural-jensen-ackles-previews-pirate-vampires-plus-what-castiel-is-hiding-from-dean.html
