'The Biggest Loser': Jeremy Britt talks walkout episode and the unfair twist

Jeremy Britt was one of five contestants to threaten to quit on Tuesday's (April 17) highly anticipated episode of "The Biggest Loser" over the twist in which previously eliminated contestants would be allowed to compete for a chance to return. Britt opted to stay in the game only to be eliminated for the lowest weight loss this week. So does he regret the decision to stay?"At the moment when I was eliminated, kind of," Britt says during a conference call Wednesday. "I made it a point to stay so I could go to my interviews and I could speak my side of what was going on." Host Alison Sweeney and a lawyer for the show sat down with each of the contestants during the episode to discuss the revolt. During Britt's sit-down, the attorney pointed out that the show's contract clearly states that previously eliminated contestants will be allowed back into the competition. Contestants Walk Off 'The Biggest Loser,' But Who Quit The Show?

In an unprecedented play for power, the final five contestants on " The Biggest Loser " (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on NBC) got wind of a twist that would allow the eliminated contestants a chance to get back in the game, and consequently decided they were going to collectively quit the show. Production shut down as Alison Sweeney brought in a lawyer to remind contestants that this twist had been in their contract all along; not to mention that this sort of thing happens almost every season on the show. The contestants were left to think over their choices, and both Mark and Buddy decided to leave the show in protest. Suddenly the final three was established and it was the brother/sister pair of Jeremy and Conda joining Kim. Because of this, the final weigh-in had a red line, making that shot at the finale all about the numbers. They all brought big numbers -- perhaps because of the unspecified length of time production was shut down? -- but it came down to Jeremy and Conda, with Jeremy falling short. Next week, all the eliminated contestants who didn't quit fight for their chance to join Kim and Conda in the finale. Follow all the drama on "The Biggest Loser" every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. 'The Biggest Loser' revolt: Who quit from the final five?

They've been teasing it all season - the episode where the final five contestants make an unprecedented move on "The Biggest Loser" and revolt. The reason is because the contestants have heard about the show bringing back past contestants and one of them getting a chance to rejoin the show and now the current contestants want to quit because they see that as unfair. It's actually rather fascinating to watch this play out, since viewers are rarely given such insight into the behind-the-scenes goings-on of a reality show.Trainers Bob and Dolvett are pretty floored that the final five are pulling this stunt since this is the way the show works most seasons, so they try to have a talk with the contestants, but the contestants really aren't engaging with the trainers. The trainers argue that because this isn't a new twist to the show, nobody should care. But just because it's something the show does doesn't... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/04/the-biggest-loser-revolt-who-quit-from-the-final-five.html
