The L.A. Complex Preview: Redemption and Relationship Troubles

The second season of The L.A. Complex continues to thrive in tonight's all new episode that features the rocky roads of not one, but two, relationships, and quite a bit of soul searching. Raquel and Connor : In the previous episode Raquel gave her blessing for Connor to act as Jen's fake boyfriend, but it quickly becomes clear that she either didn't anticipate her burgeoning jealously or she didn't realize how deeply she felt for Connor.  In tonight's episode, Raquel finally scores a guest appearance on Connor's new show, but her happiness at returning to work is short-lived when Jen shows up on set and immediately launches into "girlfriend" mode.  Forced to pretend she barely knows Connor, Raquel's annoyance at the situation quickly turns to jealously and sadness when she realizes that she's guilty of the same sin she once accused Connor of committing.  With no end in sight for this fake relationship, we have to wonder how long Raquel can pretend not to be involved with the father of her child. 'The L.A. Complex' Season 2 is staying put on The CW

Just because the ratings for The CW's summer soap "The L.A. Complex" have been disappointingly low for such a great show doesn't mean the network has lost faith in the Canadian import about Hollywood wannabes."We plan to show all the episodes," The CW president Mark Pedowitz promises reporters at the 2012 Television Critics Association summer press tour. "We're actually big fans of the show. ... I think it's a well-made show, it's a show right down the wheelhouse."Although the overnigh ratings aren't very high, Pedowitz says the series does well elsewhere. "The show actually does do very well for us digitally and in the social media space."PHOTOS: "The L.A. Complex" Season 2He says he has no regrets in ordering the series, and really stands behind its quality. "There's a sense of reality of what it's like to try to make it in the Hollywood area and the entertainment industry. [We're] supportive of it. 'The L.A. Complex': Meet Krista Allen's A-list actress character, Jennifer Bell

The latest character to join the Lux gang on The CW's "The L.A. Complex" is a familiar Hollywood face -- in the fictional world of the show, that is. You've seen actress Krista Allen before on shows like "What About Brian" and "Days of Our Lives," but on "The L.A. Complex" she's A-list star Jennifer Bell."She's an a-list actress, and she is going through a big transition in her life," Allen tells Zap2it while on location shooting at a Los Angeles boutique. "There's so much going on, so she kind of has to do something drastic and a little sneaky."This little something has to do with our favorite Aussie fake doctor, Connor. "It's something that could completely humiliate her if anybody found out," Allen teases.Obviously Raquel and Connor got closer during the Season 2 premiere, so Jennifer's presence will not go over well with the Lux's most bitter resident.
