I like a good happy ending. Truly, I am a total sucker for "and they lived happily ever after."
So I'm very happy with the outcome of The Librarians Season 3 Episode 10 , which concluded the season and saw the downfall of this year's Big Bad, Apep.
While some might consider it convenient that each of the Librarians had an essential part of the ultimate solution, this was hardly without precedent. The Library ensured practically the same thing back in The Librarians Season One . ...Read More...

Well. Um. So, that happened. I'm really of mixed feelings about The Librarians Season 3 Episode 9 , to the point where I can't decide even sitting here writing this review whether this episode was good or completely ludicrous.
The series itself definitely requires a certain level of whimsy in its viewers, but "And the Fatal Separation" definitely took suspension of disbelief to levels of parody. ...Read More...

From the cheerful bright colors to the hilarious exchanges and interesting personal insights, there was a lot to love about The Librarians Season 3 Episode 7 .
There were a few gaping plot holes, but for the most part it made for a very enjoyable hour of television.
Believe me when I say "gaping," I mean you could drive a truck through them. But still, a lot of fun. ...Read More...

First of all, a very Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday. Noah Wyle's Flynn Carsen makes a grand return after several episodes away in The Librarians Season 3 Episode 6 , and it's clear that things aren't going smoothly at the Library. ...Read More...

It's an old story: a young person is rejected by the object of their affections, grows up only to have their entire life revolve around that single particular moment in denial of the rejection. Sounds like an episode of Criminal Minds, yes? In fact, that was what happened in The Librarians Season 3 Episode 5 , which no doubt gave coulrophobes everywhere nightmares.
Unfortunately, this episode suffered in several major regards, despite guest appearances by none other than Sean Astin and Felicia Day. ...Read More...

What to do when faced with the inevitability of your own demise? Find a loophole, of course! In The Librarians Season 3 Episode 4 , Eve Baird discovered that she had a supernatural hit out on her and unsurprisingly did not sit around and wait for her impending doom.
Really, though, the moral of this story should be "Listen to Jenkins."
Seriously, though, you would think that the Librarians, knowing full well that Jenkins is a centuries-old immortal being , would pay more attention to him. Of course, had they done that, there really wouldn't have been much of an episode, now would there? ...Read More...

While retrieving this week's MacGuffin, Cassandra and Jake encountered the titular Reunion of Evil in The Librarians Season 3 Episode 3 . The attendees were, of course, Norse Frost Giants, much to the dismay of our heroes.
Naturally, this resulted in all sorts of hilarity and shenanigans as the two Librarians tried to blend in with this less-than-savory crowd. ...Read More...

Apep, Egyptian god of chaos and evil, made a much more sinister return in The Librarians Season 3 Episode 2 , accompanied by werewolves and a less-than-chatty fellow Egyptian deity, Anubis.
"And the Fangs of Death" featured darkness prominently, both visually and tonally, as Flynn and the other Librarians entered a Canadian supercollider facility in search of a missing Charlene, who had apparently been kidnapped by Apep. ...Read More...

The title alone of last nights season premiere of The Librarians should evoke worry or, more to the point, fear. The Rise of Chaos could bring about many different unsettling situations.
The one laid before us through this episode was the unearthing of a centurys old sarcophagus that contained the entombed remains of Apep, the God of Chaos. A sarcophagus that was not-so-inadvertently opened by Barry, a retired Navy man on vacation in Egypt with his wife, who became exceedingly bored with their tour. When he heard a different voice than the one in the tours headphones, he wandered off course, discovered the sarcophagus, which he naturally opened, and which, in turn, allowed the spirit of Apep to possess his body.
Not a good thing for the world at all! ...Read more...

Welcome back, fellow Librarians fans, and welcome to Season 3! The season got off to a quick start with The Librarians Season 3 Episode 1 , "And the Rise of Chaos," featuring a couple new villains. Well, one new villain and a whole group of strangely incompetent government nitwits.
Yes, indeedy-do! Apparently, no one informed the Men in Black anything about what the Library under the Metropolitan Library in New York was actually doing! (Communication, people. It's important stuff!) ...Read More...
