This is a really cute show. It's wholesome, funny, and genuine.

Very basic. The jokes are obvious and predicable. The idea isn't a very interesting one and the actors are giving a very basic performance. Its a pretty boring show with very few interesting points and the story line is obvious in the sense that once you know the theme for the episode, you can predict what the bad thing in the episode is going to be and then how he 'of course' will fix it.

It's a nice, cute show, no big laughs but I like it. I am afraid that it won't make it past season 1 but I will enjoy it while it's here.

The fact that a young unknown rapper could become a mayor in a city with no background in anything, well it's out there. I'm giving a chance to this show. Could it interest the young generation about the municipal politics? I don't think so, but could be entertaining to watch even if it just become a simple show where the heroes see a problem, fix it wrong then fix it right and everyone is happy again.

The Mayor really surprised me. What a cute show! First off, it's got a great premise. Simple, not tremendously original, but it hasn't been done before in a 30 minute comedy capacity.

The cast are all extremely likable. The show feels sort of like a version of "Atlanta" that everyone can relate too. It's a feel-good show about an underdog who becomes the mayor, and you're pretty much smiling every step of the way. I have high expectations for this one based on the pilot.
