He takes the place of Aunjanue Ellis’ Madeleine Hightower as person in charge of the CBI. The Mentalist Spoilers: No More Jane Games?

Physically, we know where Patrick Jane will be when season four of The Mentalist kicks off: in jail . But emotionally? The Mentalist: Did Patrick Jane Really Kill Red John?

It was perhaps last season's boldest finale. After three seasons, The Mentalist 's Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) finally came face-to-face with the man he believed to be Red John (guest-star Bradley Whitford), the serial killer who killed Jane's wife and daughter. The two had a long, intense conversation as Jane tried to confirm that he was indeed in the presence of his nemesis. The Mentalist Star Meets The Royals

Somehow my ticket to mingle with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (that would be William and Kate) during their L.A. visit this past weekend must have been misplaced. No worries. The Mentalist star Owain Yeoman (Wayne Rigsby), one of the honorees at Saturday night's BAFTA Brits to Watch event, phoned me up with a play-by-play of the black tie event, which was attended by the future King and Queen of England, as well as Barbra Streisand, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Jason Bateman, Quentin Tarantino and Paul Rudd. //www.tvguide.com/News/Kecks-Exclusives-Mentalist-1035182.aspx?rss=breakingnews
