Patricia Heaton On 'The Middle' Season 3, the Royal Wedding & Reuniting With Ray Romano

When the Heck family returns on the Season 3 premiere of 'The Middle,' they'll be joined by a very special guest -- Patricia Heaton's former 'Everybody Loves Raymond costar Ray Romano . But don't worry -- just because the ABC sitcom is now attracting guest stars like Romano, former 'Saturday Night Live' star Molly Shannon and former 'Glee' star Chord Overstreet doesn't mean the show will lose any of what star Patricia Heaton calls its "Heck style." In the Season 3 premiere (Wed., Sept. 21, 8PM ET on ABC), the Hecks go camping -- Heck-style, of course -- and if you're thinking that sounds like a recipe for disaster, you're absolutely correct. Below, Heaton sounds off on her hatred for camping, reuniting with Romano and which pop culture obsession Frankie will harbor next now that the Royal Wedding is over. //

'Glee's' Chord Overstreet to guest star on 'The Middle'

While we're still devastated by Chord Overstreet's exit from "Glee," we finally have some good news to report -- the trouty-mouthed actor won't be absent from our TV screens for long.Overstreet is breaking out of the high school mold and... going back to school. Warner Bros. confirms to Zap2it that Overstreet will guest star on sitcom "The Middle," as Ralph Wickerson, Brick Heck's idealistic fourth grade teacher who gets a little over-involved in his student's life, if you ask Frankie and Mike. He doesn't exactly agree with their laid-back parenting methods.Overstreet will be on set this week to film scenes for an episode airing on ABC on Sept. 28. No word yet on whether he'll randomly be breaking into song. What do you think of this change of scenery, Gleeks? Weigh in below in our comments section.... //

ABC is kicking off its fall season with an Everybody Loves Raymond reunion on The Middle. The network is now confirming to me what I first reported in my column back in June that Ray Romano will guest star in the September 21 third season premiere of his former TV wife Patricia Heaton's sitcom. //

"So you just start rebuilding." The adorable young star of The Middle is tenacious like that. At a Lego store near where the ABC sitcom shoots in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley, Shaffer is recalling his most memorable projects:  //
