The Suffersons stars Chernus as Josh Sufferson, an out-of-work accountant who decides to write a novel with his free time. Unfortunately, his wife, Dana, mocks his literary pursuits mercilessly. When Dana finds out that Josh is writing a novel about their marriage, she decides to write her own book, a memoir about their marriage, exposing all of Joshs embarrassing secrets.
