Will You Watch The Voice Without Christina Aguilera?

As the sole female coach on The Voice, Christina Aguilera is used to have all eyes on her. So after it was announced that the pop diva would be leaving the show during the spring season to promote her new album, Lotus, we pretty much panicked. After all, what would The Voice be without Xtina’s honest (and at times harsh) comments, her sexual tension with Adam Levine, and her ... ahem ... daring outfits? NBC officials have enlisted Colombian singer Shakira to replace the... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/LgPPm4tL8K8/will-you-watch-the-voice-without-christina-aguilera

The Voice Season 3 Contestant Collin McLoughlin: “I Never Said That I Was Going to Be Done With School Permanently”

In Tuesday night’s blind audition episode of The Voice Season 3, we were introduced to former student Collin McLoughlin, who dropped out of NYU’s grad school — with only a year left before he was to receive his Masters in Music Business — to pursue a career in music.   Luckily, Collin has a beautiful sound that inspired three of the judges to turn for him. And though his bold decision seems justified, we can’t help but wonder if the singer received any... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/zfEaq_Ek53M/the-voice-season-3-contestant-collin-mcloughlin-i-never-said-that-i-was-going-to-be-done-with-school-permanently

The Voice Season 3 Contestant Benji Talks Racial Profiling and Why The Voice Breaks Down Barriers He’s Faced His Entire Life

In Tuesday night’s blind audition episode of The Voice Season 3, we were introduced to former race car driver, Benji. His wail-happy rendition of "Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door" had coach Adam Levine declaring that the 24-year-old could win the entire show. But the singer hasn’t always been met with positivity when it came to performing. He formed a band with two of his best friends called Built to be Broken, which he describes as "three Indian dudes on... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/SY-VbaJzYL8/the-voice-season-3-contestant-benji-talks-racial-profiling-and-why-the-voice-breaks-down-barriers-hes-faced-his-entire-life

The Voice’s Cee Lo Green Parties in Las Vegas After Announcing That He’s Leaving the Show in the Spring (PHOTOS)

We were all shocked and saddened to learn that The Voice coach Cee Lo Green would be taking a leave of absence from our favorite reality music competition in the spring, but he didn’t let the news stop him from having a good time. //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/OtWG_aurhdw/the-voices-cee-lo-green-parties-in-las-vegas-after-announcing-that-hes-leaving-the-show-in-the-spring-photos

The Voice Season 3 Contestant Emily Earle Talks Performing in the New York Subways: “One Guy Spit on Me!”

Last night on The Voice Season 3 blind auditions, we were briefly introduced to country singer Emily Earle in a three-contestant montage. And since we didn’t really get the chance to get to know this young hopeful, Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the Team Cee Lo singer today. We’re not quite sure why NBC cut her audition clip short, because this Colorado Springs native has had quite the interesting journey. After attending school in Boston, Emily moved to New York City, and... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/NMjj1mUAhRo/the-voice-season-3-contestant-emily-earle-talks-performing-in-the-new-york-subways-one-guy-spit-on-me

TV ratings: 'The Voice' rises again and 'Go On' holds steady Tuesday

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012As it did Monday, "The Voice" improved significantly on its ratings from a week ago. Tuesday's show grew by 2 million viewers and more than half a point among adults 18-49 over a week ago. "Go On" also held pretty steady -- it lost more of its lead-in but was only down by .1 in the 18-49 demographic vs. last week. That did not, however, translate into an across-the-board win for the night. NBC dominated the 18-49 demo but narrowly lost the total-viewer race to CBS.Elsewhere, a "20/20" special honoring fan-favorite TV shows and characters did fairly well in viewers (if not the demo), and the "So You Think You Can Dance" season finale was up from last week for FOX.CBS drew 8.8 million viewers and a 5.9 rating/9 share in households for the night, just beating the 8.7 million and 5.4/9 for NBC. ABC (6.3 million, 4.3/7)... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/09/tv-ratings-the-voice-rises-again-and-go-on-holds-steady-tuesday.html

Who Is Mycle Wastman From The Voice Season 3?

On tonight’s episode of The Voice Season 3, the final contestant of the night managed to wow the judges purely with the strength of his. But it was Mycle Wastman’s backstory that captured our attention (and had us reaching for a tissue). Mycle’s father passed away from lung cancer and his mother died of a respiratory disorder when he was a kid. Mycle was raised by his grandfather, who passed away less than two weeks before his audition. The Seattle, Wa. native took his... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/7EjKyzyxjN0/who-is-mycle-wastman-from-the-voice-season-3

The powerful singer performed a unique rendition of Al Green’s "Let’s Stay Together," and after Cee Lo, Adam, and Blake all turned around, Mycle became the newest member of Team Cee Lo.
