TV ratings: 'Grimm' stays strong Tuesday as 'The Voice' and 'NCIS' drop

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, May 7, 2013Week two of "Grimm's" Tuesday-night run brought more solid ratings for the show, which improved a little over last week in viewers and was pretty steady in adults 18-49.The night's two biggest shows, "The Voice" and "NCIS," were both down from last week, but both retained their leads in the 18-49 demo and total viewers, respectively. The season finale of "Splash" was up a little bit for ABC, while the "Hart of Dixie" finale was on par with last week. "New Girl" and "The Mindy Project" were also up a little.CBS brought in 12.4 million viewers and a 7.9 rating/13 share in households Tuesday night, topping NBC (9.4 million, 5.9/9) by about 3 million viewers. ABC (7.7 million, 5.1/8) came in third. FOX grabbed fourth with 4 million viewers and a 2.5/4. 'The Voice': Shakira and Blake Shelton sizzle with 'Need You Now'

On night two of the live playoffs on "The Voice" on Tuesday (May 7), it was performance night for Shakira and Blake Shelton's teams. That also meant it was time for Shakira and Shelton to team up for their first duet together since Shakira joined the show as a coach this season. Of course, Shelton made sure he didn't have to do anything too far out of his wheelhouse, with the two pairing up on Lady Antebellum's hit "Need You Know." The country star was dependably good, but the surprise of the performance was how well Shakira held her own. Her unique vocal quality doesn't lend itself to all genres of music, but she sounded right at home on the scorching ballad.
