'The Voice' Top 6: Who stands the best chance at winning Season 4?

With the Top 12 chopped in half and Season 4 of "The Voice" just a few brief weeks away from naming a winner, it's time we take stock of where the competition stands. Which artist holds the most power in the game? And what should each sing next week in hopes of sticking around? Below are our thoughts.6. The Swon BrothersWhy: Let's just come out and say it: Zach and Colton are only the longest-standing duo in "Voice" history because they're country artists and this season's voting audience is clearly dominated by country fans. (How else do you explain a Top 6 that is two-thirds country?) Of all the country still in the game, these brothers are the weakest. Their harmonies and timing often falter and, of anyone, they seem the most adverse to taking any sort of risk. What to sing next: "Ten Thousand Words" by The Avett BrothersWhile they don't really deserve to... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/the-voice-top-6-who-stands-the-best-chance-at-winning-season-4.html

Adam Levine defends 'I hate this country' comment on 'The Voice'

Adam Levine already took to Twitter to defend his "I hate this country" comment on "The Voice" by defining the words "misunderstand," "lighthearted," "humorless" and "joke," but apparently that didn't clarify his stance on the situation clearly enough. The Maroon 5 frontman also released a statement promising that he does not in fact hate the United States. "I obviously love my country very much and my comments [on 'The Voice'] were made purely out of frustration," Levine tells Us Weekly. "Being a part of 'The Voice,' I am passionately invested in my team and want to see my artists succeed. [The] elimination of Judith and Sarah was confusing and downright emotional for me and my comments were made based on my personal dissatisfaction with the results. I am very connected to my artists and know they have long careers ahead, regardless of their outcome on the show." Levine now has one surviving team member: Amber... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/adam-levine-defends-i-hate-this-country-comment-on-the-voice.html

THE VOICE: Carson Daly on the Shocking Eliminations

THE VOICE had quite the elimination episode this week when Team Adam’s Sarah Simmons and early front-runner Judith Hill (whom caused Adam Levine to previously threaten that he would light himself on fire if she didn’t choose him to be her coach) received the least amount of votes. After the show, THE VOICE host Carson [...] //www.givememyremote.com/remote/2013/05/30/the-voice-carson-daly-on-the-shocking-eliminations/

'The Voice': Judith Hill sounds off on her surprise elimination from Season 4

There's always one results episode of "The Voice" a season that throws viewers for a loop, and Season 4's was Tuesday (May 28), when Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons, two of the competition's most powerful vocalists, got the boot.Since her blind audition in the first weeks of the season, Hill, the former Michael Jackson backup singer was viewed as a frontrunner, consistently earned rave reviews from the coaching panel. So what happened between Monday's performance of will.i.am and Justin Bieber's "#thatPOWER" and Tuesday?Speaking to reporters after her elimination on Tuesday night, Hill mused on what turned audiences off of her funk interpretation of the dance track, blaming it less on her performance and more on what America was ready for."I don't think anything went wrong, musically," Hill said. "I think it was really one of my more exciting performances. I was really rocking out with the band and I was excited, so I think that,... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/the-voice-judith-hill-sounds-off-on-her-surprise-elimination-from-season-4.html

Adam Levine on 'Voice' Backlash: 'I Obviously Love My Country Very Much' (Video) (Updated)

Adam Levine hates America. Well, at least how we vote on singing competitions. A non-controversy has been struck when the lead singer of Maroon 5 uttered under his breath, "I hate this country," into a hot mic on "The Voice" Tuesday night. Seeing two of his singers in the bottom three on the NBC hit show frustrated Levine – but the catalyst was seeing his team member, country singer Amber Carrington, as the one saved. You can hear the non-moment at about the 1:14 mark of the video below. Read More... //www.thewrap.com/tv/article/adam-levine-hates-country-or-maybe-just-amber-carrington-voice-94231

TV ratings: 'The Voice' leads Tuesday as 'Extreme Weight Loss' sheds viewers

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, May 28, 2013Tuesday's ratings told a pretty familiar story from the past couple of weeks: "The Voice" was far and away the night's top show in both viewers and adults 18-49 -- and carried NBC to a win in the latter category -- even as it declined a little bit more. Also Tuesday, "So You Think You Can Dance" dipped a little in adults 18-49 but was up in viewers over a week ago. It was not a good night for premieres, as ABC's "Extreme Weight Loss" came in lower than last year's opener and CBS' docu-series "Brooklyn DA" didn't make much of an impression. The finale of "Body of Proof" won the 10 o'clock hour but was down from recent performances.CBS led the night in viewers, drawing 7.3 million people and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households. NBC (6.6 million, 4.2/7) came in second. ABC (5.3 million, 3.6/6) edged FOX... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/tv-ratings-the-voice-leads-tuesday-as-extreme-weight-loss-sheds-viewers.html
